Medical Microbiology was developed by four experts in the field: a medical microbiologist, a virologist, an infectious disease specialist and a pathologist. They have pooled their years of experience as educators and practitioners to help you learn the essentials as quickly and painlessly as possible.
Organisms are arranged alphabetically within each category (virus, bacteria or fungi). They are also listed by the infections they cause in organ systems.

This app has great potential! Good for students or those already in the field. Would have given more stars but biochemical tests such as oxidase, catalase, indole, etc., would be helpful. Would definitely love to see this expanded to include more organisms. Great idea!!!
Its a decent app. But I was hoping for a little more. What I would love to see would be the same format, but a little more information on the identification of some of the more common bugs. Like with results to biochem tests and actual pictures on agar plates or at least descriptions of colony characteristics on agar plates. Add that and I would give 5 stars.
I really like how user friendly this app is and how its set up alphabetically and by category. I wish it elaborated more on the biochemical testing and colony morphology used to determine the type of bacteria seen, being a medical lab student it would be very useful in studying for micro exams. Otherwise it is a great useful app that I will get plenty off good use from.
I love this app, it is exactly what I was looking for! Its very user friendly and has all the info necessary for specific pathogens. Great study tool!!
